Desi Tribes began with a simple thought — why should the beauty of India’s handloom sarees remain hidden in weaving villages or passed down only as heirlooms? Why can’t every woman experience the charm of a saree that’s made slowly, carefully, and with heart?

What started as a personal love for collecting sarees soon grew into something bigger. As I travelled and met artisans across India, I realised how much art, effort, and emotion goes into every weave. Their stories moved me, their craft inspired me, and that journey is what shaped Desi Tribes.

Today, Desi Tribes is a homegrown Bangalore-based brand that brings together sarees from different states of India — each one handpicked directly from the weavers. We don’t mass-produce. We don’t rush. Every saree is selected with intention, checked for quality, and curated so you feel beautiful the moment you drape it.

For me, this brand is personal. I interact with weavers, select fabrics, test colours, handle styling, packaging — everything. Because I want the saree you receive to feel special, meaningful, and worth treasuring.
